We will use translation method to solve this math.

Or, X% × 20 = 500

Or, 20X/100 = 500

Solution: Let's us assume that the number is X.

So, 30%. Of X

=(30/100) × X

=30X/100

=3X/10

So,30 % of the number X is 3X/10.

●Suppose you are taking part in your math exam for 100 marks and you have gotten 33 marks out of 100 marks.Now find out the percentage of marks you have gotten


Solution:You have gotten 33 out of 100.
