How to Divide Improper Fractions with Different Denominators
Consider the two impoper fractions 7/3  and  5/2 to understand how to divide improper fractions with different denominators.Remember that in improper fraction,the numerator is always greater than denominator.

●7/3 divided by 5/2

=7/3 ÷ 5/2 (Translating)

=7/3 × 2/5(Change of division sign and multiplied by the reciprocal fraction)

Keep   Change      Flip method


=(7×2)/(3×5) [Multiply top to top and bottom to bottom)

=14/15 


The answer for 7/3 divided by 5/ 2 is 14/15.

So from the above example ,you know how to divide an improper fraction by another improper fraction.
